Sheffield United Community College Fundraiser - When you Wish Upon a Star

⭐ 18 Miles. One Big Challenge. Making a Difference.

On Friday 13th November 2026, our students and staff are taking on a huge challenge - walking approximately 18 miles from the Hollowford Centre in Castleton to Bramall Lane Stadium in Sheffield.

And we’re doing it to raise money for an amazing charity, When You Wish Upon A Star. ⭐

As a community college, we’re passionate about giving our young people opportunities to learn, grow and make a difference beyond the classroom. This walk is about exactly that, challenging ourselves, working together and doing something positive for other young people.

When You Wish Upon A Star helps make wishes come true for children living with life-threatening illnesses. For these children and their families, a wish can mean creating special memories, having something to look forward to and enjoying a moment of happiness during an incredibly difficult time.

Our students will be taking on approximately 18 miles across a variety of terrain, pushing themselves both physically and mentally to raise as much money as possible.

Every donation will help us get closer to our target and, more importantly, help the charity continue creating those special moments for children and their families. ❤️
