Fighting With Pride supports the health and wellbeing of LGBT+ Veterans, service personnel and their families – in particular those most impacted by the ban on LGBT+ personnel serving in the Armed Forces prior to January 2000. As a new charity, FWP is working hard to build its service to connect LGBT+ Veterans to organisations that can help them and stand with those in need.

As a UOTC we are a non-deployable reserve unit made up of university students. All our officer cadets are currently studying at the University of Sheffield or Sheffield Hallam. Our community is made up of many different backgrounds, therefore we would like to raise money for FWP to help celebrate and support to build an ever more inclusive environment throughout the armed forces.
