At 80 years old, most people are putting their feet up.

Not me.

On Sunday 23rd August, I’ll be taking part in a wing walk — yes, standing on the wings of a flying plane — to raise money for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

I may be 80, but I still believe in doing things that matter. Thornberry does incredible work caring for animals who have nowhere else to go, and I want to do something bold to help support them.

I’ve had a wonderful life full of family, love and adventure. Now it’s time to create another memory — one that hopefully makes a real difference.

If you’ve ever thought “I couldn’t do that” — you’re probably right! I’m slightly wondering that myself! But sometimes we have to step outside our comfort zone for a good cause.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Thornberry continue rescuing and caring for animals in need.

So here I go… 80 years young and walking on wings!
