Welcome to Team King's where our amazing supporters are taking part in the British Transplant Games to support the King's Transplant community.

Story

Hi everyone!

Theo is hoping to attend the British Transplant Games 2026 this year and we would love your support to help him get there.

As many of you know, Theo received a liver transplant in 2022 after being diagnosed with OTC deficiency, a life-threatening condition. In an incredible act of love, his dad was able to donate 20% of his own liver, giving Theo a second chance at life.

Theo is now starting to understand more about his medical journey and learning how to live safely with his transplant. The Transplant Games are such an amazing opportunity for him to spend time with other children who have had similar experiences and truly understand what transplant life is like.

Although Theo is doing incredibly well and is as happy and healthy as we could hope for, living with a transplant still brings daily challenges as he must take medication to suppress his immune system.

Theo has gone from strength to strength over the years, defying so many odds, and we would love to give him the opportunity to represent King’s College Hospital Children’s Team for the second time.

He absolutely loved taking part in the Transplant Games last year, and it meant so much to meet other families who have been through similar journeys.

The British Transplant Games also help raise awareness for organ donation, something that is incredibly close to our hearts.

If you are able to sponsor Theo in any way, big or small, we would be so grateful for your support ❤️
