On Tuesday 12th December, we are kindly asking colleagues to don their festive jumpers and donate just £1 to raise money for our UK charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Being told ‘you have cancer’ can affect so much more than your health – it can also affect your family, your job, even your ability to pay the bills. A staggering 83% of people with cancer experience some kind of financial impact from their diagnosis.

For those affected, this amounts to an average of £891 a month on top of their usual expenses.

£900 will provide a Macmillan Grant to three people living with cancer.

These vital one-off payments help cover some of the extra costs cancer brings, like travel to and from hospital appointments, higher energy bills and even buying a wig.
