SNAP and the Haven Centre, provide fun, creative, safe, nurturing and stimulating play opportunities, whilst encouraging the development of social and independence skills, to the lives of our Children and Young People with complex health needs and disabilities. This invaluable support also provides various opportunities, for parents/carers to have some respite time. SNAP and the Haven are also a fantastic resource together, for supporting young people to learn to live independently, equiping them with the tools to navigate and empower them into adulthood confidently.

As a Child Health and Disabilitites Senior Community Children's Worker and a Mum of a child with a hidden disability, I am deeply connected to the cause of SNAP and know how valuable this service is to our children and families of the highlands. Having worked closely with families facing similar challenges, I understand the immense pressures and challenges they experience. I believe the SNAP Team are a true blessing to our children and families, as this service alleviates pressures on families and the Team promotes so many positive outcomes for the children.

Sadly, there are very limited provisions in the Highlands for our children and their families and I will be forever grateful to the SNAP Team, for providing such amazing experiences for our Children and respite opportunities for their families.

I am extremely passionate about raising as much money as I can, for such an amazing, powerful, life changing charity and so we can ensure that our SNAP Team continues to make a difference in the lives of our Highlands Children.
