Story
For anyone who has supported my findraising events to date, I cannot thank you enough. Below is a little bit about SNAP and why they are so worthy of funds being raised. They are unique, mighty and deserve to have the community backing them and helping them to continue the amazing work they do.
SNAP (Special Needs Action Project) is a registered Scottish Charity (SCO24792) based in Inverness. Founded in November 1996, as a parent support group SNAP has grown to become the Highlands largest support organisation of its kind.
SNAP is an invaluable provider of services to children and young people with additional support needs. We provide regular activities for 130+ families through After School Clubs, Holiday Leisure Schemes, ‘Out and Abouts’ in the community, weekend breaks, Teen Club and Youth Clubs.
SNAP exists to improve the lives of young people with additional needs by providing social experiences, building self-esteem, and encouraging independence. We provide opportunities for making friends and socialising supported by our caring and experienced staff and volunteer team.
