Story
The Kelpies in Falkirk, Scotland are the world's largest equine sculptures, made of steel and standing at 300m tall.
On 11th October I will be climbing up the inside of Baron - the 'head up' kelpie via a series of cables, ladders, rope bridges and suspended platforms to reach his mouth, where I can pop out and enjoy the view from 98ft! I will then descend back to earth through a free hanging abseil or 'quick flight' rope drop.
I've covered the costs of the challenge myself, so all sponsorship money will go directly to Shy Lowen Horse & Pony Sanctuary in Liverpool, to support their work in rescuing and rehabilitating horses and ponies in need, as well as providing volunteering opportunities, mental health support and therapeutic interventions to many local schools, organisations and individuals including children in the care system, military veterans and the homeless.
