I am running the 2025 Florence Marathon and 2026 London Marathon to Raise Money for Larsen’s Pride.

Larsen’s Pride is a charity created to bring courage and comfort to children under the age of 12 who have been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Larsen's pride provide Jelly cats to children to take for support into their planning and treatment procedures giving them a form of comfort and something to cuddle whilst they are in the treatment room and radiotherapy shell on their own. Sometimes this can provide the difference between the child requiring a daily anaesthetic or not for radiotherapy

They also provide Jelly cats for siblings and extra resources for patients such as summer and Christmas packs, Lego, journals and books for extended periods in the hospital.

They have also developed radiotherapy resources such as an animation based on Larsen’s story and they have meet the team videos so children and parents can find out more about the people they will meet along the way.

They support education of families and staff through webinars about supporting young children through cancer treatment.
