Story
T!iity Trail has been an annual event for me and a dear friend, Julieanna, where I get to say Fu#k Cancer for the whole day while putting my body through absolute agony to raise money for a great cause! We first embarked on this 'trail' (poorly defined really as the first one ended with the Long Mynd in Shropshire) when it first started and 5 months after my chemo treatment ended after my first Breast Cancer diagnosis. We returned to do this 'trail' last year again, when I was presumably 'cancer free'.
Now, with my Secondary Breast Cancer diagnosis, and chemo this time just ending a mere 9 days before this new T!itty Trail in Aberystwyth, I am even more determined to do this for myself, my family, my friends, and the hope that more research for this terrible disease will bring me more years to come. I may have also gone a little bit crazy recently by booking this event so close to a chemo treatment, but am even more determined now. So I ask you kindly to support me (and Julieanna of course!) in our efforts to take on a new T!itty Trail this year and help to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. We thank you in advance!
T!tty Trail first began in 2023 and has grown year on year to become a large-scale cancer awareness and fundraising event. We host the trail in October to mark breast cancer awareness month and since it began in 2023, the event has raised over £50,000 for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.
Lingen Davies fund a wide variety of projects and services including wild swimming sessions for breast cancer patients, wig vouchers, free yoga and tai chi for patients and much more!
