Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 14 February 2026, we lost our beautiful Lisa after her courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastating brain tumour. In just eight short months, this cruel disease took her life and heartbreakingly, it also claimed her sister the year before. No family should have to endure such unimaginable loss.
Throughout her illness, Lisa showed extraordinary dignity, courage and positivity. Even in the hardest moments, she remained strong for those around her, facing every challenge with grace and determination. Lisa inspired everyone who knew her.
Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Survival rates remain devastatingly low and treatment options are limited. More research is needed to improve early detection, develop effective treatments and ultimately prevent other families from experiencing this pain.
Lisa would have loved to know that, instead of funeral flowers, donations are being made to support adult brain tumour research - helping to bring hope, progress and one day a cure.
If you are able, please consider donating in Lisa’s memory. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help fund vital research and move us closer to a future where families no longer have to suffer such loss.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Forever Loved. Forever Remembered.
