Story
Michelle Kennedy Devine passed away on 24th January after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She is in our thoughts every single day, and she is deeply missed.
When we remember Michelle, we think of the incredible strength and resilience she showed throughout her journey. Even in the most difficult moments, she inspired everyone around her, always with a smile, lifting those around her with her laughter and humour, and making everyone feel at ease with her warmth, determination, and spirit.
This event is inspired by that strength, a tribute to the bravery she showed in the final year of her life, a year filled with memories we will cherish forever.
The Foyle Hospice played a vital role during that time, providing outstanding care, compassion, and support. Thanks to their dedication, many precious moments were made possible, and for that we are truly grateful.
In her final year, Michelle pushed herself beyond limits most of us can scarcely imagine, both physically and mentally. In her honour, on August 15th, we will take on our own challenge: walking, jogging, and running loops for 24 hours, pushing ourselves in tribute to the fight Michelle courageously fought.
We invite you to join us, whether by taking part or supporting the cause, as we raise vital funds for the Foyle Hospice. Together, we can help ensure that other families receive the same care and support that meant so much to us.
