🔥 I’m braving the heat for Maggie’s Highlands!
Maggie’s has been the most amazing support to me since my stage 4 cancer diagnosis in 2022. From practical support at the beginning, to emotional support as I began to wrap my head around living with an incurable illness. I still attend Maggies for a regular group session & sometimes I just pop in for a cuppa and a chat. The wonderful team have created such a safe & welcoming space, for which I'm so grateful. This is such a good opportunity to hopefully raise some money for this invaluable service. I had thought I might try doing a sponsored silence, anyone who knows me will agree I'm more likely to succeed at a firewalk 😅
On 31st October, I’ll be taking part in a Firewalk! Yes... walking barefoot across burning embers to raise vital funds for Maggie’s Highlands, a charity that provides free cancer support to people across the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Moray.
Maggie’s helps people with cancer, and their families and friends, find strength, comfort, and practical advice during one of the toughest times in their lives. Their support is free, but it’s only possible thanks to donations.
My goal is to raise at least £200 to help Maggie’s continue their incredible work. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
