Story
My grandad lost his battle with pancreatic cancer less than three weeks after he was diagnosed. It was sudden, brutal, and unbelievably cruel. Our whole family is still trying to make sense of how quickly it took him from us. Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers because, for most people, it’s only found when it’s already too late.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to raise as much as I can for Pancreatic Cancer Action — a charity dedicated to improving early diagnosis and developing better treatments so that more families get time they deserve with the people they love.
In memory of my grandad — not just my grandad, but my best friend — I’ll be taking on two huge challenges:
- SUP, BIKE, RUN Triathlon on 17th May 2026
- Great North Run on 13th September 2026
Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund vital research and gives hope to families facing this devastating disease. If you’re able to support me, please donate generously and share this far and wide. It would mean the world to me and honour the memory of a man we lost far too soon.
Pancreatic Cancer Action
Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. In the UK, 93% of all patients die within 5 years of diagnosis.
Your vital support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis and enable life-saving treatment.
Together, we will save lives.
