We are now planning our eighth convoy and are delighted that Chris von Christierson will be joining us as a co-driver.

With the almost nightly bombardment by Russian drones and missiles of cities across the country, as well as the soldiers in the front line and the displacement of millions of people and thousands killed or maimed, this aid is needed more urgently than ever and Pickups for Peace are determined to keep going so long as help is needed.

So many of you have supported this work very generously already and no-one likes asking for charitable donations at all, never mind more than once, but we have heard at first hand just how much this help means to Ukranians in their third year of fighting to defend themselves from Russia’s attempt to overwhelm their freedom and their way of life. Quite apart from the aid itself they really appreciate that every donation reflects someone who, while far away, understands and cares about what Russia is doing to them and its wider threat to other countries. That means a lot, as they have told us.

As on our previous trips we will pay for the Channel crossing, all fuel and insurance to get the car there, our accommodation on the way and our flights home. Accordingly every penny that you give goes directly towards the vehicle and its contents with no overhead.
