At Shield Pest Control we are passionate about helping local charities. Greenwich and Bexley Hospice is very dear to us at Shield Pest Control as not only it is a tremendous charity that helps so many people facing the most difficult times but we also have staff members that have had personal experience of their unwavering care and support. Additionally, we assist the hospice by carrying out routine pest control in the Abbey Wood hospice and many of their charity retail premises.

The Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice's mission is clear: "We want everyone in our wonderfully diverse community to be able to approach death in the way that suits their values, beliefs and lifestyle. Whether that’s through pain management, care at home, rehab support, pastoral services or end-of-life care at the hospice, we’re on hand to help anyone with a terminal illness, their loved ones and their carers with free support, care and advice at any time of day or night."

In aid of this wonderful charity, we are holding a Charity Quiz Night on Monday 16th March 2026 at Honor Oak Pub, 1 Saint German's Road, London, SE23 1RH.

The evening will start from 6pm before our main event general knowledge quiz hosted by our fabulous local community Quiz Master, Alex at 7pm and will feature live music in the interval by amazing local singing duo "Heart & Soul". We will also hold a raffle with all proceeds going towards the charity and will finish the evening at 9pm.

Entry to the quiz will be £10 and raffle tickets will be £1 each or you can buy a charity bundle of 15 raffle tickets for only £10! We will have a card reader there on the night to take admission fees and additional donations
