Last December Adam announced he had been asked to be Santa for this years Shine21 Christmas Fayre. Always wanting to give his all, he decided to grow a real beard...and not knowing how long it would take, he started in January! Think Movember...but for an entire year!

It has been a journey! Some particular 'highlights' from this experience:

💛 Friends, clients and family absolutely ripping into him every single time we've entered a room. No-one has held back!

💛 Regular receiving of gnome images and GIFs

💛 A complete stranger asking if he was a viking

💛 One daughter saying he absolutely isn't allowed to do the school pick up

💛 Another daughter exclaiming "ewww you have to kiss that" (THAT!)

This weekend the beard will be dyed white, ready for his Santa debut! Photos will be added during the week - it's worth a donation just for the photo updates! But for now, flick through the gallery for beard updates throughout the year...

Adam has passionately thrown himself in this for one reason alone. For Maisy, the absolute centre of his world. Maisy was born with Down syndrome, and she’s been lighting up the world ever since. Her laughter fills every room, her determination inspires daily, and her journey reminds us to slow down and appreciate the beauty in every step.

The mission is simple: to spread Down syndrome awareness, celebrate inclusion, and show that every family’s journey is beautifully unique.

We want to help the world see what we see every day — that having Down syndrome isn’t about limits, but about love.

Through raising funds for Shine21, we hope to:

💛 Inspire other families who are walking a similar path

💛 Educate others about inclusion, kindness, and understanding

💛 Celebrate the milestones that matter — no matter how big or small

Maisy might take a little longer to reach her goals, but she gets there with sparkle, strength, and a smile that melts hearts everywhere.
