Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to walk 23 miles with the Glasgow Kiltwalk in aid of Helping Hilltop, a small charity I have been involved with for the last 4 years. This charity supports a small 2 acre farm in Kenya which supports a community of 80 orphans. I have visited twice and they are an amazing bunch of people. The farm is gradually becoming self-sufficient. It can usually feed the children and is starting to generate some cash through its fish farm and from growing and selling tomatoes. The children's education, though, still relies on donations. School uniform, stationary, exam fees and for the older kids, boarding, all cost money but hopefully will help lift these children out of poverty.

I have never walked this far before so it is a good challenge. Please help support me so I can help support them.
