Hello, my name is Shishir. I work as an online freelancer. I am associated with an online educational website for the last 5 years. On this website, I get payment from the website by solving the school related queries of the students.

I don't have a fixed salary but I am on contract. The more work I do, the more payment I will get. I was associated with the website since 2019 and till 2022 the work was going well. I used to earn ₹25-30000 per month by working on the website. But in 2023, the website suddenly reduced its work drastically. Earlier, I was not getting even one fourth of the work I was getting. The entire year of 2023 went like this. Due to this my income suddenly dropped to less than a quarter. Now I had to look for some alternative freelancing work so that I could support myself. But I was not able to get work on any other online platform.

Since Corona, there has been a lot of competition in freelancing work and work from home work. Then I started developing a website of my own. On this website I post helpful content for students etc. Income can be earned by monetizing the website. My website has been monetized but I am not getting enough traffic to my website. It takes 1 year to get good traffic on the website. I have been working continuously on the website for the last 6-7 months and in the coming 2-3 months I will be successful in driving good traffic on the website, so that I start earning good income.

I am still involved with the educational website I used to work for. But sufficient work was not received from there in 2023. The operators of the website are originally from outside India and they operate the India version of the website. Due to his own internal issues, he was not focusing much on India's website.

In 2024, he has started increasing the work a little. In this way, I will start earning a decent income from both my previous company and the website I have developed in the next three-four months, like I used to do earlier.

I am an individual person and live alone, my flat rent is ₹ 10000 and other personal expenses are ₹ 10000. I require at least ₹20000 every month.

The educational website for which I am working and the amount of work I get from there in 2023, I would be able to earn enough to meet my minor food expenses. Rest, I was facing a lot of difficulty in paying the rent of my house. For this reason, my house rent has increased by ₹ 50,000. The landlord has given me an ultimatum of 15 days. I have to give them ₹30000 somehow. After that he will give me time for next two-three months, by then my work will be running and I will be able to repay all the money owed to me.

Due to not being able to pay the rent, I am not able to focus on my work, which is affecting my work. If I don't pay the rent for my house, my landlord will keep all my belongings and throw me out of the house.
