Story
Five colleagues from the Shoosmiths Leeds Ofice will be undertaking a skydive, falling through the air from 10,000 feet, in support of our office charity of the year, Leeds Women's Aid. The date has been re-arranged a couple of times (due to bad weather) but rest-assured, it will take place in spring 2025.
We are by no means a group of adrenaline junkies and this will undoubtably be a huge challenge for each of us! We would be hugely grateful for any donations to help reach our target of £2,000 which will make this terrifying descent worth it. This total will mean so much for Leeds Women's Aid and will make a huge difference to the services they provide to women and families in Leeds.
Leeds Women’s Aid is an independent charity formed in 1972 and is now the biggest women's charity in Leeds, providing services to women and families affected by domestic abuse. They provide services to vulnerable women and children who are victims and survivors of: domestic, sexual and honour based violence and abuse; forced marriage; trafficking; stalking and harassment.
