Shore Radio has always been about more than music.

From the very beginning, our mission has been simple — to create a true local radio station that brings people together, gives the community a voice, and reminds listeners that nobody is ever alone.

That’s why we’re proud to be fundraising for Legends on the Bench.

Across Essex and beyond, too many people are struggling silently with loneliness, mental health challenges, and the pressures of everyday life. Legends on the Bench is helping change that by creating safe spaces for conversation, connection, and support — one bench, one chat, one person at a time.

At Shore Radio, we see every day how powerful community can be. Whether it’s a shoutout on a Saturday morning, a familiar voice on the school run, or listeners checking in with each other during difficult times, radio has a unique way of making people feel connected.

This fundraising campaign is our way of giving something back.
