Cycling 5000 km over the festive period

As the leading Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) charity in the UK, we want to find effective treatments for DMD and end its devastating impact. We’re going further than anyone has before, and we’re doing it faster, because this generation of people living with DMD can’t wait.

Story

Surrey Hills Puncheurs (aka the Usual Suspects) ride together with James whose son Ben was diagnosed a couple of years ago with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). DMD is an utterly devastating muscle-wasting disease affecting mobility and the respiratory system. There is no cure.

Between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 2022 we will be aiming to cycle 5000 km and in the process we want to generate awareness of DMD and raise money for Duchenne UK https://www.duchenneuk.org/

Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development.

We would be extremely grateful for your support. Thank you

Chris Perry, Dave Armstrong, Duncan Ross, James MacGregor, James Williams, Jez Carter, Jonathan Tyler, Nick Cadge, Paul Hillier and Steve Jennings
