Prostate Cancer Support's 20 Years of Dedication

For two decades, Prostate Cancer Support has been a beacon of hope for patients and families battling prostate cancer. As a patient-led charity, we prioritize direct support and awareness initiatives, notably through PSA testing and one-on-one assistance during challenging times.

Our commitment to efficiency ensures that every resource goes towards aiding those affected by prostate cancer. With minimal overheads and a dedicated team of volunteers, we remain steadfast in our mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their loved ones.

In the face of adversity, Prostate Cancer Support stands as a testament to resilience and compassion. Thank you for 20 years of unwavering support. Together, we will continue to make a difference.

📣 Wellbeing Group Initiative Empowers Community

Last November, the Shree Bhartiya Mandal (SBM) became a hub of vitality and supported by Being There Charity launched the Wellbeing Group (SBM) initiative. Aimed particularly at the elderly members of the community, this weekly event offers chair-based exercises and invaluable information on health, finance, and support for families facing life-altering challenges such as cancer, dementia, diabetes, and depression.

Central to this initiative is the provision of PSA testing, with the help from Prostate Cancer Support for men aged 40 and over were tested, a crucial step in the early detection of prostate cancer. The group recognizes the importance of holistic support for individuals and families navigating these difficult circumstances, and the Wellbeing Group serves as a beacon of hope and assistance.

However, sustaining this vital support requires ongoing funding. In response, Shree Bharatiya Mandal has initiated a sponsored walk to raise the necessary funds to continue this invaluable program. Through the collective efforts of sponsors, participants, and supporters, we aim to ensure that no one in our community faces these challenges alone.
