WCASG has created Have a Heart (Wolverhampton), a Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Centre here within Wolverhampton our wonderful new facility opened in August 2022 so that patients, who have completed their NHS rehabilitation, can attend long-term.

Story

Hi, I'm Shreeram. Last year, I was diagnosed with heart failure. I couldn't walk more than a few yards without getting out of breath, and my normal life came to a screeching halt. Not being able to operate or see my patients was the last straw and I felt totally helpless.

I was lucky enough to be referred to the incredible heart failure team at the Wolverhampton Cardiovascular and Aftercare Support Group (WCASG). On my first visit, I was incredibly nervous and apprehensive. Through gentle words and reassurance from the team, I started my exercise rehab with other heart failure patients, young and old. We shared stories and I soon realised i was not on my own. With their help, I was able to get back on my feet and start living my life again, well, nearly.

The WCASG is a charity that provides care and support to people with heart problems. They offer a range of services, including Clinical rehabilitation programs, Education and support groups,Financial assistance

The WCASG has new Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Centre in Wolverhampton (HAHW - Have A Heart, Wolverhampton) to support those affected by heart disease.

I'm fundraising to support this project. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to get their life back after a heart problem. Your donation will help the WCASG support this new center and continue to provide life-changing care.

Thank you for your support.
