We are a group of cyclists who belong to North Shropshire Wheelers who meet most Thursdays for a ride around the Welsh, Shropshire & Cheshire countryside. We have talked about doing the LEJOG challenge for a while and have at last got to planning and making it a reality. As a couple of our members have had prostate cancer we felt it was important that we raised some money to help others with similar prostate cancer problems.

We plan to start the ride from Lands End on the 3rd June aiming to reach the following destinations:

Day 1 - Fowey

Day 2 - Crediton

Day 3 - Clevedon

Day 4 - Hereford

Day 5 - Malpas

We plan to have 3 days rest at home in Malpas before setting off again on the second leg

Day 6 - Garstang

Day 7 - Penrith

Day 8 - Moffat

Day 9 - Falkirk

Day 10 - Pitlochry

Day 11 - Grantown on Spey

Day 12 - Lairg

Day 13 - Thurso

Day 14 - John O'Groats

In all we will cover 1,050 miles and climb 49,000 feet!

There will be a support vehicle/van with us and we have separate drivers for the first and second legs.

We are all over 65 apart from Nicolette (61) with the eldest being 70.
