Story
Our Chairman will be shearing sheep for 24hrs to raise money for his chosen charities this year. Will he survive the 24hrs? There's only one way to find out! You will be able to come and watch on the day if you want too, there will be a bar and BBQ too.
His chosen charities are :-
Shropshire Rural Support
Shropshire Rural Support was set up in 1991 to help people living in rural Shropshire by providing confidential support during periods of anxiety and stress, and with problems relating to their families and their businesses.
Our free confidential service is delivered by people with farming backgrounds who understand the ups and downs of farming, family farming businesses and living in the countryside. Most importantly they have the time to listen.
In addition to listening, Shropshire Rural Support also has an extensive network of contacts who can provide guidance and signposting to professional advice on most aspects of living and working in rural communities and businesses.
Lingen Davies cancer support
Lingen Davies Cancer Support's core mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of everyone affected by cancer by enhancing cancer services, improving facilities, and funding support programs across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales
Alzheimer's society UK
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity. We give vital support to those who need it, fund groundbreaking research, and campaign to improve experiences. It will take a society to beat dementia.
