In the early morning light of July 20th, the surface of the river shimmers with promise as the Shropshire Chamber team will be preparing to race on the section of the river between the Kingsland bridge and the Pengwern Boat Club.

We’re not only paddling for the thrill of the race; we’re paddling to raise £500 for Severn Hospice. A charity that offers invaluable care to those when cure is no longer an option.

Our heroic team of Barbies, Kens and an Allan will be donning a tapestry of personalities to act as a beacon of hope and compassion in our efforts to race the river, raise awareness and funds for such a heroic cause.
