I am reaching out for help during one of the most challenging periods of my life. Recently, I fell victim to an online scam, losing everything I had saved. The scam drained my finances and left me in significant debt that I am now struggling to manage. As a single mother of twin toddlers, this has been emotionally and financially devastating. My main focus has always been to provide for my children and give them a stable, nurturing environment, but this sudden financial burden has shaken our foundation.

I am originally from India, but I currently live in Singapore, where the cost of living is particularly high, especially for foreigners. Essentials like rent, food, and schooling are costly here, and as a non-citizen, it is challenging to find local financial support programs. I have tried to seek assistance within Singapore, but unfortunately, the options for individuals like myself are limited, and I have yet to receive any meaningful support.

Since the incident, I have been doing everything in my power to recover. I have worked extra hours, cut down on expenses wherever possible, and reached out to friends and family, but it simply isn’t enough to cover this substantial debt. The stress of this situation is overwhelming, and I am deeply worried about its effect on my children. They deserve stability and security, and it breaks my heart that I am struggling to provide them with that right now.

The anxiety of this debt weighs heavily on me every day, and it is starting to impact my mental and physical health. I am exhausted from the constant worry, and it feels as if there is no way out. I am afraid that if I cannot escape this debt soon, my mental well-being and health will deteriorate further, and I fear the impact this will have on my ability to care for my children. They are my world, and I am fighting as hard as I can for them, but I am reaching a point where I can no longer do it alone.
