Story

On November 17th I’ll be running the St Neots half marathon.

Running has never been my strong suit. In fact I’m so far away from being a natural runner that even now my parents still do impressions of how I used to run with my bum sticking out like a chicken when I was younger.

But now that bike racing is over for the year I’ve decided to put my efforts into something different for a couple of months, and I’m learning quite quickly that being half decent on a bike definitely doesn’t translate to being a half decent runner! Doing this is hopefully going to achieve two things; finally stop Dad nagging me to run so I can go running with him, and raise some money for Cancer Research in honour of Adam’s Mom, Rachel, who I unfortunately never got to meet.

I never thought I would try something like this and doing it to the best of my (limited) ability is going to be quite a challenge, but I’m hoping I can do her proud!
