Siân Does 100 Squats a Day for Mind

100 Squats a Day · 28 February 2025
* UPDATE: I'M NO LONGER ACCEPTING SQUAT SONG REQUESTS! My squat song playlist is now full up and I'm even extending my challenge through to Sunday 2 March! If you had a request you really wanted to see me squat to, please message me privately. Otherwise, I am so grateful for your donation even though I can't give anymore musical thanks! *
For the third year running, I’m doing 100 squats every day for a month. Last year, we raised £1,030 for Teenage Cancer Trust. This year, I’m fundraising for Mind, a cause very close to my heart at the moment. If you’d like to know why, please read below.
There are 28 days in February, so if you kindly donate £28 or more, you can pick a song for me to squat to! One day this month, I'll listen to your song of choice while I squat, and I'll feature the song and a big thank you in my Instagram stories. Have some fun with that! * Edit: Please see my note above! *
Find me on Instagram to follow my squat stories. For musical inspiration, listen to my 29 Songs for 2900 Squats playlist of all the songs I squatted to last year!
Thank you so much for your support. Please cheer me on through all 2800 squats this month in aid of Mind and you’ll be joining the fight for mental health. If you donate, your money will help Mind make sure everyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect.
I’m fundraising for Mind in memory of my dear friend Alice Figueiredo. Alice died on Hepworth Ward at Goodmayes Hospital, a mental health facility in north-east London, ten years ago on 7 July 2015. The ward manager and North East London NHS Foundation Trust are charged with causing her death, and are currently facing trial at the Old Bailey.
Alice loved painting, zebras, Queen, yoga, her family, making people laugh, and getting me and her sister Elle into trouble. She would have been able to do 200 squats a day, with me on her back and that beautiful cheeky smile on her face.
