Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that offers support services for those suffering with such a cruel disease. Around 1 in 3 people which are born in the UK today will be diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime.

People with dementia experience changes in how they perceive things this includes misperceptions and misidentifications and hallucinations, delusions it strips a person of their former self.

By doing this we’re hoping to help just one person who’s affected by dementia. Myself and Ella work in a nursing home where we see how this changes people. Dementia is unjustifiable and I don’t think any words will explain the pain it causes. It’s also something that has been personally intwined in our lives with our wonderful granny Edith, our queen who we miss so much.
