Following a life-changing car accident in 2017, our husband/dad spent 5 months under the care of RJAH Gobowen Hospital for a spinal injury; that has completely turned all of our lives upside down. Dennis' injury has resulted in him being paralyzed from the chest down, subsequently losing a lot of independence as the simplest of daily tasks have become complex and demanding. His recovery has neither been as straightforward as we had hoped, and life at times has been far from easy.

The staff and care provided by RJAH Gobowen has been second to none, and has enabled Dennis to continue living a fulfilling and content life. No task is too big, and we are always greeted with the greatest of smiles, by all staff.

In order to try and re-pay the hospital for their hardwork, we will be running the TCS London Marathon, 2025.

We are taking this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff and care of Gobowen Hospital. We would not be where we are today as a family without them.
