I’m raising money for Tiny Tickers in honour of my 4 month old baby Amelia, who was born with congenital heart disease. She was diagnosed antenatally witha coarctation of the aorta and had her first open heart surgery soon after birth. Postnatally she was diagnosed with a large ASD and small left structures. We were lucky her CoA was picked up during pregnancy but not every family has the same experience.

Every year in the UK, 1 in every 100 babies is born with a serious heart condition. For families, that diagnosis can change everything in an instant. This October, I’m taking on The 100 Challenge to help Tiny Tickers give babies with congenital heart disease the best possible start in life.
