Story

Last year we lost two precious people. I’m running Cardiff Half in celebration and in memory of my cousin Gemma and to make my Pops proud.
Gemma was one of the kindest, most humble and strongest people you could ever meet. She doted on her family and gave every ounce of energy and love to them. 🌻
I am running to raise money in the hope that more can be done to prevent bowel cancer, enable earlier diagnosis and support those who are fighting and their families.
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with over 16,000 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable. We are determined to change that. The funds raised will help us to provide support and information to patients and their families, enable us to fund and support research into bowel cancer and allow us to campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
