No-one knows what’s around the corner - I was diagnosed with Malignant pleural mesothelioma (a lung cancer caused by asbestos) last year. I previously attended the Maggie's on the Runway first gala ball in 2016 as a guest - but this year on 17 November I’ll be on the catwalk, beneath Concorde and alongside Rick Astley, strutting my stuff! Previous fundraising I’ve done has involved running shorts or Lycra; this will be totally different and way out of my comfort zone!
