As some of you may know, I am currently training as a paediatric nurse. I love caring for children & helping them in any way I can. My hair is very long at the moment and whilst thinking about my next haircut, the little princess trust popped into mind!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. I think, what better thing to do than to donate my hair towards such an amazing cause!

This charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. It costs the Little Princess Trust £700 to provide one child or young person with a real hair wig and they currently help more than 2,000 children every year.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give hair and hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

My hair is currently 26” long (give or take) and I’m hoping to donate around 12”. I’m waiting for it to grow just a little bit longer to make sure there’s enough for me to avoid a bowl cut look😅
