Please give what you can afford to sponsor my silence on Sunday 17th August. I'm aiming to be completely silent from 2pm-4pm but will see if I can manage longer!

I'm raising money for Autism Early Support, an incredible local charity that changed the life of my cousin, Elliot, when he attended their Circle Centre pre-school for 18 months, about 8 years ago. He's now just about to start secondary school at Billing Brook Special School and is able to read, write, and communicate his basic wants and needs.

During my silence, I'll won't be allowed to communicate using spoken words — which is how life is for lots of children (and grown ups!), and will have to use other ways to communicate.
