More than one million people in the UK are affected by Parkinson's, either living with this disease or as a friend or family member of someone who is. Parkinson's Research has identified over 40 different symptoms including tremor, stiffness and slowness of movement, problems with sleep and memory, and mental health issues.

To raise money for important research towards a cure and support for people with Parkinson's, a Silver Swans with Melinda Ballet Barre and Port de Bras class was held on Zoom on the 17th March 2025, followed by a Gala Celebration in London with a live band, a singer and a student dance showcase on the 22nd March.
