Story
We are Simi and Sini — nurses from Kerala, India, moved to Bristol, UK in the early 2000s. Over the years, we have witnessed something that never stops hurting: children across the world going to bed hungry, their futures dimmed by a lack of the most basic human need — food.
Every day, we are reminded that childhood hunger is not a distant tragedy. It is real. It is growing. And it is happening to far too many.
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “There are people in the world so hungry that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.” Mother Teresa taught us, “If you cannot feed a hundred people, then just feed one.”
These words have stayed with us. They have shaped us. And today, they inspire us to act.
This summer, we are taking on a personal and physical challenge: climbing the three highest mountains in the United Kingdom.
Scafell Pike — June 2026
Snowdon — July 2026
Ben Nevis — August 2026
We have already begun training, and with every step we take, we carry the faces and stories of children who deserve a chance at life, health, and hope.
Through this challenge, we are raising funds for Action Against Hunger UK, whose life‑saving work reaches children in 57 countries. Their mission is simple but profound: to ensure no child dies from hunger.
Your kindness can help make that mission real.
Every donation — big or small — goes directly to Action Against Hunger UK. Every pound becomes nourishment, medical care, clean water, and a chance for a child to grow, learn, and dream again.
If you are able, we humbly ask you to support us.
Please consider donating or sharing our page with friends, family, or colleagues. Every share lifts us higher. Every message keeps us going. Every pound changes a life.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your generosity and compassion.
