You may or may not know that my dad was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's a few years ago and unfortunately has continued to deteriorate as this horrible disease takes hold.

Unfortunately he is now in a home and is far from the brilliant dad he was to the four of us. In fact he no longer knows who we are.

So I'm dusting off the running shoes and not only doing a half marathon but completing it with Dale Williams on Shetland.
