The National Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital paediatric transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care.

We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.

Donations enable The Air Ambulance Service to meet the clinical needs of patients covering operational costs to ensure all our vital services are ready to respond.

BANGER RALLY CHALLENGE 2025 VIENNA OR BUST

The Rally will start on Saturday 20th September 2025, leaving Charlestown Harbour (Cornwall) and finish at Vienna in Austria. We will be travelling through 7 countries in 7 days! The only snag is the car can only cost around £1000 to be entered in to the Banger Rally category and there is no support en route. The uncertainty each day of whether our chosen chariot will make it to the next destination let alone start the next morning. Breaking down miles from anywhere, on a mountain pass in a strange country makes it all more challenging.

There will be several challenges set along the route to earn extra bonus points and If we manage to coax our chosen Banger to the finish point this year the overall winning team will win an epic £500 which will donated to the charity of their choice, 2nd Place £300 and 3rd Place £200 and the Best themed Car will get £200.

Winners also receive the coveted Piston Trophies. Trophies will be also be awarded to each of the 7 Stages Winners.

Full details of the route and stop-over points will only be released each day of the rally to make this even more of a challenge.
