Story

Olly and Simon Take on Ironman Wales 2026 for Sandy Bear!

In September 2026, Olly and Simon will dive into the cold waters of Tenby’s North Beach to begin one of the world’s toughest endurance events, Ironman Wales. Ahead of them lies a 2.4 mile sea swim, a gruelling 112 mile cycle through the rolling Pembrokeshire hills, and a marathon that will test every ounce of determination they have left. It’s a challenge that demands heart, grit and purpose, and they’re doing it all for a cause that truly matters.

Every mile they cover is in support of Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity, which helps children, young people and families across Wales find hope after loss. When a child’s world is shattered by the death of someone they love, Sandy Bear is there, offering a safe space, gentle guidance and the support needed to rebuild their lives.

By backing Olly and Simon, you’re not just supporting two athletes, you’re helping to ensure no child or young person has to face grief alone. Every donation fuels their journey and keeps the work of Sandy Bear going for those who need it most.

Please donate today and be part of their journey — together we can help turn pain into hope.
