Story
My cousins, Adam and Rebecca are amazing parents to Georgia and Max.
When Max was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome last year, rather than focus on the help they may have needed as a family, they started a foundation to raise awareness, fund research and provide support to other Angelman families.
This could be in the form of sensory play resources, medication or simply helping to relieve the needs of carers and families, as a way to give back to the Angelman wider community.
Max is such an adorable, happy and brave little boy.. A true inspiration to me, and I couldn’t be prouder to contribute sweat, tears (but hopefully not blood) to this incredible foundation by channelling my inner Forrest Gump.
I’ll be joining the annual BMW Rochdale run on Sunday 8th October, and any hard earned cash you are able to part with would be so gratefully received.
This means such a lot to me, so thank you for any donations whatever the size!
