In my year as Prime Warden of the Fishmongers Company I am hugely lucky to do many fascinating things, meet interesting people and find myself in environments totally new to my experiences. However, the most rewarding thing has been to get a little closer to the numerous charities that we at Fish support.

A stand out one for me, about which I really knew very little before, is The Manna Society – you can see detailed information on what they do from the link on this page. To me it embodies the very best in the charity sector – a very focused, modest, committed team delivering a really essential service to those in need on a needs-blind basis – which they do with such positivity and joy. I am always so impressed whenever I visit them at their base just over London Bridge from the Hall.
