Story
Sara and myself recently took over the Orange Tree pub in Chelmsford, we agreed we should have a local annual community charity to support. In 2026 we are raising money through various events for Farleigh. A wonderful charity who have helped our friends in recent years.
As many will know, I'm terrified of heights! I am doing a skydive for Farleigh on 6th June 2026. If you can spare anything in these difficult times it will be much appreciated for this amazing charity.
Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex.
They help patients to live as actively as possible from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, by providing physical and emotional care, free of charge.
With approximately 40% of their yearly running costs being funded by the local NHS, they rely on the support and goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to the £21,271 it costs to provide their services each day.
