Story
Peer support can be the difference between struggling alone and finding hope and direction through community. It's something I have been proud to champion for some time professionally and personally. Bipolar Scotland are a small but mighty organisation who make mutual support and self management tools available through groups across Scotland. Being user-led means they are values-driven and an organisation firmly rooted in lived experience.
I'm running this 10K in lovely Trossachs scenery with my son Joe (somewhere in the far distance ahead of me no doubt) and I'll be doing so in memory of fellow advocates who are no longer with us.
In these challenging times for charities, your donation - no matter the size - helps ensure people living with a bipolar diagnosis don't have to face it alone.
