Story
I have been a volunteer with Enrych Oxfordshire since 2019. The charity provides a befriending service for those with physical disability, helping to improve the quality of their lives through leisure and learning.
The Offa's Dyke walk presents a real challenge. Taking 13 days, hiking 177 miles and with 28,000 feet of ascent from the Severn Estuary (Chepstow) to the Irish Sea (Prestatyn). This is a national trail along the entirety of the English-Welsh border.
I shall be doing this solo, unaided, with just a backpack. I can't wait to dip my toe into the Irish sea at the end! And hopefully raise some funds for this deserving charity which I am proud to be part of.
