METRO is an equality, diversity and inclusion services charity that runs health, community and youth services across London and the South East. METRO works towards creating a world where diversity is celebrated, difference is respected and valued, and where optimum health and well being is achievable for everyone. METRO supports anyone experiencing issues around sexuality, gender, equality, diversity and identity across five areas of work: Youth, Mental health, Sexual health, HIV, and Community.

Celebrating it's 10th Anniversary, METRO Walnut is one of only 2 prostate cancer support groups in the UK that are specifically for LGBTQ+ people and their partners. It runs 2 meetings a month and 'one to one' buddying, for those who need it. It has membership from all over the UK and the greater London area. METRO Walnut does not receive any statutory funding or support from local bodies, but is mainly funded out of reserves from METRO Charity and the good nature of those who run and volunteer for it.
