I’m running the London Marathon MyWay.

'MyWay' is not the main event - it's still the 26.2 miles, but can be anywhere in the UK, anytime between 00:00am and 11:59pm on 26 April 2026, tracked by an official app.

And I will still get the medal ;)

I've picked a route along the river Thames from Hampton Court Palace to Buckingham Palace. Seems to be the most scenic route into London, to celebrate with rest of the runners at the finish line.

Over the years with my distance running, with your help I’ve supported nationwide charities such as Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Retail Trust.

But now it’s time to get local.

This year I’ve chosen Catalyst Support, a fantastic charity helping people in Surrey with support for their mental wellness, or to escape domestic abuse.

I've been a volunteer marketer for Catalyst since December and have seen first-hand the impact this relatively small team of big-hearted people have on their community.

No doubt you know someone who has needed counselling, guidance or even a safe haven; life isn’t always plain sailing.

So please do give generously, if you’re able. Your donation will support people in their hour of need and get back on track.
