Story

WOW!! WE DID IT!! We got all 3 Field Ambulances safely to Ukraine in the end!! Massive THANKS to all who have helped us. Ambos 1 and 2 have just arrived in Zaporizhzhia and Ambo 3 is already in deployment in Odessa region. As happens on handover - the teams feedback their immediate needs - and we are all about responding quickly to the focused critical requirements of the combat medics. These Field Ambulances are proving critically important with the mixture of vehicle, critical medical aid, and the all-important anti-drone netting. They are literally a life-safer for these teams. SO WE"RE ABOUT TO DO IT AGAIN!! The cost of the last convoy came to over £10,000 and that included all team paying their own way. We're trying to get another £6k for another 2 Ambulances at least for Easter. Please help us get the next convoy together as quick as we can.

Huge thanks to my team of drivers who braved some pretty appalling conditions (-10dges+ and sheet ice everywhere) to navigate these important assets to arrive safely in Lviv. It's a long and tough drive. As ever it is hugely humbling to be in Ukraine and see the incredible fortitude and strength of the people now moving into the 5th year of this war. They are profoundly grateful for all that we do.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As the famous song goes : "Don't be sad baby, ...(don't be sad,....)...Coz two outta three ain't bad"..(Meat Loaf 1977).

Soooooo, safely handed over two of the field ambulances packed with medical aid and evacuation equipment to our Combat Madic receiver in Ukraine on Saturday!! Fantastic effort from the whole team!! Huge thanks from us to all of you who have contributed. BUT .....i now find myself on a long journey back to middle of Germany to pick up the now repaired 3rd Ambulance with the extremely gallant David who has remained with the stricken vehicle and handled the painfully expensive repairs! We will then head off asap back across the large snowy freezing mass of Germany and Poland to try and deliver this aid directly to Ukraine within the next few days. We need all the help we can get right now, so if you have time to view the new gallery photos and updates please share with everyone.... Huge thanks from the front line.

What a fantastic response to my fundraising!! A massive thank you to all of you who have donated! We've now managed to get our 3rd vehicle so we now have our fleet of 3 x 4x4 Field Ambulances and we'll be heading off to Ukraine in a couple of weeks. This is in direct response to the request from the combat medics I met while I delivered an ex-NHS ambulance to the front line at Zaporizhzhia. The team of drivers is assembling and the preparation is underway! We now need to raise a little more money for the medical supplies to pack these vehicles to the roof with essential life-saving kit. Please help me in any way you can.

Here's the background :

On 23rd September we delivered an ambulance and 4 pickup trucks packed full of medical supplies to Ukraine for onward deployment to the front lines. See the photos.
